Bank of Makati (A Savings Bank) Inc. has added another branch to its roster with the conversion of its Bataan loan center into a full-service branch on February 23, 2016.
The Balanga branch was inaugurated in simple ceremonies attended by Balanga City Mayor Enrique “Joet” Garcia, BMI President Ma. Rodora E. Bañares, BMI Branch Banking Group Head Angel G. Muyot Jr., and Area Head Alvin P. Del Ponso.
The Balanga branch, BMI's 42nd nationwide, comes on the heels of the launch of BMI Urdaneta, Pangasinan branch last February 11, the Microfinance-oriented branch in Buendia, Makati on February 1 and the Gensan branch last January 29. BMI's Meycauayan, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Santiago (Isabela), Laoag (Ilocos Norte) and Batangas loan centers were also converted into regular branches in the latter part of 2015.
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas in July 2015 approved the conversion of all 24 loan centers of BMI. Once completed, the conversion will bring BMI’s network to a total of 57 branches nationwide.
The Balanga branch will be manned by Branch Operations Officer Arlene M. Tamoro, Teller Joanna Marie D. Guilas, and Account Officer Vincent B. Espiritu.
